Representing Hertfordshire Talented Athlete Programme at One Month and Counting! - Waltham Abbey

23rd June 2012 Daniel & Robert had a very early start to the day checking into the Milton Keynes Indoor ski centre at 7am ready for an Indoor ski racing competion. After prize giving where both Boys picked up their gold medals for each winning their respective age categories!It was a quick dash out of the building to get on the M1 to travel to Waltham Cross were the Boys had been invited to represent Hertfordshire Talented Athletes ( HTAP) at the One Month and counting Olympic celebration. A very supportive crowd listened to both Boys as they were interviewed about the Winter Olympic sport of Alpine ski racing and Robert was congratulated on his British U16 Alpine Ski race champion title and recent ski racing achievements! A great Olympic 'buzz' was in the atmosphere as the torch will be passing through the area on the 7th July making it's way to the nearby Lee Valley White water centre. The presenters introduce representives from HTAP - Daniel & Robert Poth. Robert being interviewed at Waltham Abbey one month and counting celebration. Representing Hertfordshire Talented Athlete programme at OFEST at Paradise wildlife park

24th June 2012. As athletes on the Hertfordshire Talented Athlete Programme, Daniel and Robert are often asked to represent the programme at various functions to be interviewed about their chosen sport of Alpine ski racing. This is also a fantastic opportunity for Daniel & Robert to thank publicly the various local businesses that support the HTAP scheme based at Hertfordshire University. Robert stars in London Theatre production of Brassed off!

16th May 2012 Well not quite!! But one of his Ski Racing Trophies does... Read on.... Having heard about Robert's extensive trophy cabinet collection....Robert was recently very happy to oblige a most unusual request from the Eltham Theatre company to help them out by lending them an important prop for their production of 'Brassed off' at the Bob Hope Theatre. The Director of the stage production required a rather large trophy for the end scene of the play when the colliery band make it to the national brass band final at the Royal Albert hall and win the prized competition! The play was a massive success and Robert was very pleased to help them out! Brassed Off trophy One of Robert's Trophies being held up high in the 'Brassed Off' production!
